Food and Humanitarian Aid
Humanitarian assistance for vulnerable families in Pakistan, offered according to need and with respect for every person.
Our Heart
Compassion Beyond Words
1 John 3:18 calls us to love in action and truth. For a family under pressure, that love can be very practical: a meal, warm clothing or essential supplies at the moment they are needed.
Providing food, clothing and essential items is a central priority for us, and we continue to assist families where resources permit.

How We Want to Serve
Help That Protects Dignity
Food Assistance
Helping families meet a basic daily need during times of hardship.
Clothing & Essentials
Practical items that can ease pressure on a household.
Based on Need
Help is never conditional on religious participation or any other requirement of faith.
Respect
We avoid images and stories that reduce people to their circumstances, and we protect family privacy.
Questions
Questions About Family Aid
How does ZAWF approach humanitarian assistance?
We aim to respond to genuine need with compassion and respect, and to plan responsibly. Assistance is not conditional on religious participation.
Can a church fund a specific food project?
We can discuss food packages, clothing and practical assistance, subject to verified needs, budgets and distribution plans. Please visit our ministry partnerships page.
How will I know how support was used?
For a proposed project, we are prepared to discuss budgets, progress updates and reports about designated resources. See our draft financial accountability policy.
How We Think About Food Assistance
A food package can’t solve poverty, and we won’t pretend it can. It can, though, carry a family through a difficult week and remind them that they haven’t been forgotten. That’s worth doing well.
Principles for Every Distribution
- Need comes first. Help isn’t conditional on faith, attendance or anything else.
- People keep their dignity. We avoid staged photographs and stories that shame anyone.
- Plans come before promises. We only offer what resources allow.
- Records matter. Designated gifts should be recorded and reported on.
What a Church or Donor Can Ask For
If you’re considering support, it’s fair to ask us what’s needed, how much it’d cost, who would receive help and how you’d hear back. We welcome those questions. You can begin on our donate page or by writing to us.
Beyond Immediate Relief
We want immediate care and long term opportunity to work together. A family that’s fed this week still needs its children learning next year, which is why food support sits beside our education work.
