Our Work, Stories and Community Impact

Trust grows from honest evidence. Here you will find genuine moments from our work with children and families, and how we plan to report it.

What Change Means

People, Not Just Numbers

For us, meaningful change looks like a child who gains confidence, a family supported through a hard season, and a community that knows it has not been forgotten.

So far, more than 3,000 children have been reached through education or the Word of God, and our target is 10,000 by 2027.

Reports and Accountability

How We Document Our Work

Accurate

We describe what happened, and we separate completed activity from future plans.

Consented

Photographs and stories are shared only with appropriate permission and safeguarding care.

Respectful

We never invent stories or testimonials, and we protect the identity of children and families.

Improving

Better financial records and activity reporting are among our near term priorities.

What Community Impact Means to Us

You’ve probably seen charity websites full of big numbers. We understand why, but we’d rather earn your trust slowly. For ZAWF, community impact starts with something you can check: what happened, where it happened, who was involved and what still needs doing.

What We Plan to Report

  • The activity itself, with its date and general location
  • Who led it and which program it belongs to
  • How designated resources were used
  • What went well, and what we’d change next time

What We Won’t Do

We won’t publish invented counts, ratings or testimonials. We won’t publish a child’s full name, address or school. And we won’t describe a plan as though it’s already finished.

How You Can Help Us Improve

If you’re a church or ministry partner, you can ask us what evidence would help you most. Honest questions make our reporting better. Please visit our ministry partnerships page or see our programs to learn what’s under way.

Why aren't there beneficiary numbers on this page?

We count children who have received education or heard the Word of God through our ministry. As our records improve, we plan to share more detail by activity and period.

Are the photos on this page from real activities?

They’re photographs supplied by the foundation. Dated, approved captions will be added as each activity is documented.
