Our Programs and Areas of Service
Christian welfare programs in Pakistan that bring together education, spiritual encouragement and practical care. We tell you plainly which work is under way and which is still planned.
Six Areas of Service
One Purpose, Different Stages
Not every program operates at the same scale. Our education and Sunday school concern began among children in brick kiln communities, and other areas are priorities we hope to develop.

In progress
Children’s Education
Work toward free educational opportunities for children whose families face poverty, with encouragement, learning materials where resources allow, and care for confidence and character.

In progress
Sunday School Ministry
Sunday school ministry among children in brick kiln communities, helping them discover the love of Jesus through Bible stories, prayer, songs and fellowship.

In progress
Food & Humanitarian Aid
Food, clothing and essential items for families in need, where resources permit, based on genuine need and offered with respect.
Clean Water
Planned
Clean Water Initiatives
A development priority: identifying communities with inadequate water access, then exploring resources, partners and sustainable projects.
Women & Youth
Planned
Women & Youth Development
A proposed area focused on learning, mentoring and practical skills, so women and young people can grow in confidence and opportunity.
Medical & Social Welfare
Planned
Medical & Social Welfare
An aim to explore medical camps and better access to care by working with appropriate healthcare professionals and institutions.
How Our Programs Connect
Caring for the Whole Person
A hungry child struggles to learn, and a family under pressure struggles to plan ahead. We want immediate care and long term opportunity to work together, with Christian compassion behind both.
Questions
Questions About Our Programs
Do families need to be Christian to receive help?
No. ZAWF is openly Christian, and prayer and biblical teaching are part of who we are, but humanitarian help is based on need and is never conditional on religious participation.
Are all six programs running today?
No. Each program above is marked In progress or Planned. Planned areas are goals we hope to pursue as needs, partners and resources allow.
How can a church support a program?
Start with a conversation. We can discuss real needs, a practical plan and how designated support would be reported. Visit our ministry partnerships page to begin.
How We Decide What to Do Next
You might wonder why three areas are marked as planned. It’s because we’d rather grow slowly and honestly than open more programs than we can look after.
Before Anything New Begins
- We listen to the community and confirm the need.
- We check that qualified people can lead it safely.
- We make sure resources and approvals are in place.
- We plan how we’d report on it, and how it could last.
To understand the thinking behind this, read our vision and mission. If you’d like to help a program grow, you can give or talk with us about partnership.
Help this work grow
Prayer, partnership and practical support all make a difference.
